Laser hair removal is a highly effective and proven way to remove and reduce unwanted hair from the face and body. An average six to  eight treatments (some people do require more) will be required every six weeks to kill the hair follicles beneath the skin and prevent future growth.

The treatment works as pulses of light are absorbed by the melanin in the hair. The melanin converts the light into heat which kills the follicle ensuring any hair is unable to re-grow.

The treatment is only effective when the hair is in its growth stage, this is because it's attached to the follicle. The majority of the hair will be in the resting stage (not attached to the follicle yet still in the skin).

 

This is why a number of treatments will be required to ensure that we have captured all the hairs within the growth stage, in the desired area, to deliver the results you will be completely satisfied with.

 

Yes our laser machines can remove hair permanently.  The hairs treated with our laser will not grow back.  However any future hormonal changes may result in future growth of new hairs and more sessions would be required. There are three stages of hair growth and at any one time only 30% of the hairs are visible on the skin surface the rest are in a dormant state, this is why you will need multiple sessions.
